Teacher, 35, cries as she pleads not guilty to having sex with three of her teenage students – including one while she was out on bail

Some people really know how to push buttons

Brianne Altice became emotional as she entered the courtroom in Farmington, Utah on Thursday afternoon. Says The Mail on Line..

Upset: The former high school English teacher faces life behind bars if she is convicted of the 14 felonies

This teacher of all things is accused of having sex with her pupils…. three of them under 18…….. The former high school English teacher has been charged with 14 felonies, including rape, sodomy and sex abuse, stemming from the sexual relationships she allegedly had with the three teenagers….. and yes she does look emotional…… biting her lip and having all the appearance of being worried…. but is she?

If I go to court I usually get in a whistle and Flute…… its respect… not so much to the judge, but to the system I believe in that even with its faults….. its the best we are gonna get…….

Another reason for getting properly dressed is that I want that guy up there with the silly looking hat on to believe I am credible…. True he should not judge by my clothes…. but he does… we all do.

This little lady has dressed the part…… she could have worn her own clothes when she came before the judge to plead for bail. She had been locked up again for screwing an underage guy …… and get this ….she did it while on bail for screwing THREE underage pupils of hers……. Personally I would not dare to ask.

So this week Friday 23 Jan she came dressed for the part biting on her lip looking worried, only to have her new application for bail turned down by the judge, so leaving her in prison for the foreseeable future…….

You may be thinking that the judge might have been a little harsh….. but this is what she wore to the first arraignment just ON WEEK ago.

Former Utah school teacher Brianne Altice (right), who's accused of having sex with three underage students, appeared in court Thursday for a preliminary hearing concerning allegations she had sex with one of the original victims after

She dressed in a black-and-white striped jail jumpsuit this week – a stark contrast to that tight black pencil skirt, red shirt and sky-high heels she wore to her preliminary hearing last week.

Now I ask you. If you are coming before a judge for what is a felonious sexual battery charge against a minor, and you dress to kill as if she you are movie star, then only one of two things you can expect to happen. The first is that the judge will be swayed by your good looks obvious sexuality,  or he will throw you back in prison to rot until you learn to know better with an absolutely damning statement considering the crime you have been charged with, then mock the court by getting laid by one of these boys while out on bail.

Your last ditch attempt to hood wink the judge was too little two late…… now he KNOWS your guilty as hell…….. don’t these teachers know anything at all?

Gotta love the quantas pilots….

Qantas Joke sent in by Nigel Morris

Apparently, after every flight, Qantas pilots fill out a form, called a ‘gripe sheet’, which tells mechanics about problems with the aircraft.  The mechanics correct the problems; document their repairs on the form, and then pilots review the gripe sheets before the next flight.

Never let it be said that ground crews lack a sense of humour. Here are some actual maintenance complaints submitted by Qantas’ Pilots and the solutions recorded by maintenance engineers.

Pilots: Left inside main tire almost needs replacement.
Engineers: Almost replaced left inside main tire.

Pilots: Test flight OK, except auto-land very rough.
Engineers: Auto-land not installed on this aircraft.

Pilots: Something loose in cockpit. Qantas airline bug report
Engineers: Something tightened in cockpit.

Pilots: Dead bugs on windshield.
Engineers: Live bugs on back-order.

Pilots: Autopilot in altitude-hold mode produces a 200 feet per minute descent.
Engineers: Cannot reproduce problem on ground.

Pilots: Evidence of leak on right main landing gear.
Engineers: Evidence removed.

Pilots: Friction locks cause throttle levers to stick.
Engineers: That’s what they’re for.

Pilots: Suspected crack in windshield.
Engineers: Suspect you’re right.

More Exchanges Between Qantas Pilots and Their Engineers

Pilots: Number 3 engine missing.
Engineers: Engine found on right wing after brief search.

Pilots: Aircraft handles funny.
Engineers: Aircraft warned to straighten up, fly right, and be serious.

Pilots: Target radar hums
Engineers: Reprogrammed target radar with lyrics.

Pilots: Mouse in cockpit. Sounds like a midget pounding on something with a hammer.
Engineers: Cat installed.

And perhaps, the best Qantas joke…

Qantas Pilot: Noise coming from under instrument panel. Sounds like a midget pounding on something with a hammer.
Engineers: Took hammer away from midget

Splitting my sides……

When is free speech acceptable

The first week of January 2015 saw some pretty abysmal murders. The French satirical paper lost 6 of its workforce by gunmen who were a couple of days later killed by police. A sort of die by marksman if you want, considering the way they charged the police at the end. Really sad.

Charlie Hebdo was a cartoonist who ridiculed just about every faith, not just Muslims.

“Staff from the satirical newspaper also vowed to continue with their work and confirmed further details of the new edition headed by Mr Luzier is out tomorrow. Mr Luzier, who escaped the massacre because he had overslept by half an hour, described crying after he drew the picture. He said: ‘We are cartoonists and we like drawing little characters, just as we were as children.”

Well that cartoon again depicts the Muslim Prophet Mohamed…. which of course was the very reason that the gunman said they were killing! He confirmed, apologetically: ‘Yes, it is Muhammad.’

I personally have been for almost all my life a non believer, not quite understanding how this bogy man in the sky could exist by letting some people suffer so badly.

I guess I have this idea that there may be something there, but the current religions that I see have little to offer me as a free thinking person. Perhaps Buddhism is the closest where specifics are not made and a very general set of rules focusing on the good will to all men theme.

I do however have an interest in religious practices, and in another world at a different time and place I guess I could have followed one faith or another.

Charlie Hebdo first appeared in 1970 as a successor to the Hara-Kiri magazine, which was banned for mocking the death of former French President Charles de Gaulle. Some how it seems that free speech to the French satirical publishers includes being able to make fun of the death of a very famous leader.

In 2006 we had the now famous “”it’s hard being loved by jerks” again referring to Mohamed, In response, French President Jacques Chirac condemned “overt provocations” which could inflame passions. “Anything that can hurt the convictions of someone else, in particular religious convictions, should be avoided”, Chirac said.

If its essential to insult men’s faith it is not a satirical piece, its offensive and should be a off limit area.

The french justify these insults under freedom, and the rest of the world rally to their call, even though 99 percent of sensible news papers would never print an article or cartoon coming from these so called journalists.

As always with freedoms and the power contained in the pen, it is necessary to have great sensibility that goes with the responsibility of power that you wield.

Charlie did not exercise that responsibility, as real free speech is never acceptable nor allowed today in any shape or form, its the illusion that it is that attracts.

Stephen Hawking and Elon Musk sign open letter warning of a robot uprising.

Stephen Hawking has been warning recently (several times) on the possibility of an uprising by machines. AI as its called meaning artificial intelligence or robots to the more basic of us.

His latest warning is that AI could take jobs from millions of people causing social upheavals in almost every part of the world.

The same was said of course when automation came in on production lines, where farmers drive three tractors or combine harvesters. When 20ft and 40ft containers were introduced, predictions of mass unemployment at docks world wide.

In Mines and factories where new machines that could dig at ten times the rate of a man heralded the end of large scale workforces having to do menial tasks for extended hours and soon became things of the past.

There was of course a reduction of labor, and a significant one at that, but the net gain was those same workers were retrained for something more worthwhile.

To me Stephen Hawking predictions for the workforces are the least of the problems rather than the most.

Google recently claimed that its done its first million miles in a car, although occupied by a human, was driven by Google, and without a single accident.

This year will see the first autonomous cars in California as a test drive for what is to come. This test is due to last a year but as we already know that it will be a success, based on the fact that the only way one of these cars has an accident is if a human runs into one.

They brake sooner, faster, anticipate better, drive in all weathers, never fall asleep at the wheel, and don’t talk on a cell phone. The benefits for the blind, handicapped, even emergency services, and social being are vast, and their uses almost unlimited.

No ..cars on the road and robots in our factories will be more useful than we can imagine. But AI will effect us so much more in other ways.

Currently automation is being given power and some serious power at that. We have recently seen two events that caused social decline on the stock markets, where carefully produced analytic capabilities are given to computers to buy or sell shares automatically.

Because of two false readings on two occasions millions of shares were traded because these systems are geared up to make pennies, and to make assumptions of tomorrows reactions to events today.

Your i Phone probably does a whole lot more than just making a phone cal. It reminds you of birthdays, tells you about like minded people close by, and may even control your bank account automatically.

The military has been reassuring us that nuclear weapons cannot be fired automatically, the fail safe being that codes that can only come from multiple high ranking officials, who have to sequentially and in unison, enter the necessary codes to open those silos.

The fact is that more information, and more power is given to machines for our comfort. Our chair adjusts to our mood, our car brakes automatically, our checkouts are often missing that smile of the checkout girl.

Computers can now (almost) teach themselves. The more ominous issue to me, is that they are being used to design themselves, on the basis of their experience, which given the possibilities of communication, would actually be based on the basis of EVERY computer, with their assumptions being fed to the next computer in a nano second.

Imagine if the life experiences of every human on earth and every circumstance that had ever been in were shared by all humans. Every single wrong move we have ever made in history with a perfect readout of all possible permutations and the only possible right move known to all humans at the same time, as and when it occurs.

This is what we will see from AI…. with updates coming fast and furious every time they get within range of internet access.

All too the good you may say, as you would be saved all the mundane tasks of everyday life. Well maybe not. The natural progression is that you give the computer more and more permissions to perform tasks without you having to be bothered. Just think how many permissions you have given your computer…. to pay bills regularly, down load the latest software and install, and if you think that you are in control, just go on a website controlled by bots.

They will bombard you with adds, offers and porn, and the only thing you did was press enter. but of course your in control… you think.

Now what if computers had full control to do anything…. and if you want take out the opening the silos and firing weapons. What if they had the control to plant seeds, harvest crops, be the food chain supply point. Say they looked after emission controls in vehicles to keep the air clean, to purify the water, run trains on schedule, and fly planes and land automatically, which in all cases they could do much better than humans.

They already run the power grid, where incidentally the have closed down the USA twice in the last ten years.

Now into this equation you add total automation where all humans do is oil the wheels, and feed the cats. Where we are so automated that we have driver less trains (check your airport) planes that have no flight deck and no humans, see drones. Hospitals that have diagnostic machines that are so much more efficient than your doctor, but only with full control.

How long do you think it would take for that same computer to realize that the only thing humans do is consume, they do not actually produce. How long would it be before AI decides the only reasonable option based on all information coming in from all those AI”s and that is that humans are expendable.

Get rid of them and natural resources like gold and silicone’s can be produced by machines easily and efficiently. Given that they get what they need to survive, what do they need wasteful and counter productive humans for that do nothing but use the earth and replace nothing at all.

A film made about twenty years ago called War Games highlighted where a young smart kid inadvertently started playing a war game of opposing nations on the pentagons computer.

The problem with Joshua (the computer) was that it always completed its task, and that it had no concept of what a game was. Everything was a command based on I/O system. You get to a query and you have only two options ever. one or the other. To make it more sophisticated you simply give it more I/O’s ultimately defining things on a smaller and smaller scale till a conclusion is reached.

So as it is fully in control, it plays a game and fires its missiles not understanding that one was in a twilight world of computers and the other the reality of humans. The film being about the need for humans to teach Joshua before he actually kills the world.

The way he was taught, and then saving the world, was being shown how to play itself at tic tac toe. As we know there is no end to this game, and no winners, but Joshua had no concept of the futility of this game until it is forced to play itself.

The logical outcome is that there can never be a winner in this game, just as by launching a missile attack with its strike and counter strike, there can never be a winner.

Much the same could be said for a computers logic when considering the value of humans on the planet today…. The best thing to do with any planet is cut its most useless resource which in turn would ensure the planets survival.

Unfortunately that resource is us!…. and the planet needs us a whole lot less than we need it!

And all it will take is pressing enter on a machine once, that will end our autonomy once and for all, and, in all likely hood end the human race…..

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu paid his respects

I always find even the look of this man as being offensive. The deaths of those at the Deli in France this last week is sad…. very sad. Extremist murderers taking their lives. Bibi was asked not to come to France, and yet he came.

No doubt threatening the French Government with hell and damnation if he was not allowed to attend, most likely that there were Jewish deaths and he therefore had a right to be there.

Bibi pays his condolences while every day that a war with Palestinians costs lives at a ratio of about 120 to 1 Israeli. Where the UN has condemned Israel for war crimes and where the West remains ominously silent to regular atrocities.

Where every ‘war’ sees Israili advancement that they somehow never manage to give back. Where illegal settlements are being built every day on disputed land that the peace accord of 1967 assured all that it would never happen.

Every day Palestinians are victimized in the worse possible way that can only come from instruction from very high up. As an example of which there are many.

What does that remind you of when you look at this video. Well to me, it reminded of what must have been like for Jews living in Nazi Germany. Or perhaps the pogroms that were carried out in Great Britain in the early 1900’s or even those in the USA….. yes we all had our pogroms.

This video is only a short step away from shooting that little old woman, just for the fun of it. Can you believe that. History repeating itself with the previous victims now being the aggressors. And the West does nothing.

How contrary when you think of it, and ironic too. So many went to the gas chambers, and more shot at a moments whim, with Slavs, Russians, gipsies, and the mentally deficient, all murdered because it was convenient and logical.

Yet Bibi goes uninvited to France, to none other than invite his Israeli French nationals home where they can be safe. Where another three day war will start, and the Palestinians will give up more of their land to accommodate the returning Israelis should they take up the offer.

Bibi pays his respects that are really empty words, coming from a man that victimizes mistreats and mimics the Nazi’s….. and we stand by foolishly silent because of the power of the Israeli lobbying, and the Jewish Banks that have made their way into the halls of power.

The real shame though is the West……. we ALLOW it.

To Uphold Freedom of Speech, Go Listen to One You Don’t Like

Another piece worth reading, it is however from the Huffington Post who (in my experience ) do not actually adhere to these sentiments, but for arguments sake I include and give the benefit of the doubt to David Berreby.

This piece is so true, where through the examples given it can be seen where the hypocrisy lies, and more taken along with the mainstream of popular opinion.

Free speech is never, and never can be only my speech…and not yours, it some how would not then …be free speech.

Can we make fun of Mohamed?

All people, all walks of life, religions, faiths, allegiance, even political alliance, are open for free discussion and humor is part of that, and likely no more so than a guy called George Carlin. Probably the most outspoken humorist that ever lived where no topic is off topic. Here is one example.

The man was amazing in that no word was outside his vocabulary and he was not afraid to use it. He used words that you teachers would get fired if you used, and indeed probably have no idea how to use them in any sort of context that would be acceptable to the modern stream.
The idea that a word is offensive because it is politically correct is a nonsense, its a loss of freedom of speech.
So what makes it different for George, and the socialist anti Muslim guys in France I hear you say? Well they took it upon themselves to enhance their circulation of a magazine whilst being insulting. Satirical humor is not insulting, Insulting anyone is not acceptable.
True humor makes the listener think, and respond to a tongue in cheek sideways and often alternative perspective depending on who or what you are.
I would encourage you if you have not, to look at all the George Carlin You tube videos that more accurately speak for themselves. I find none offensive.
George was successful in his humor that although bare and to the bone was NEVER insulting and the writers in France did not have his gift.
Some die by accident, some commit suicide by cops, these writers in France died by stupidity for a circulation. Not for free speech.
Sure we can laugh at Mohammed ……. it does not give us the right to ridicule though!

Update. An interesting perspective is printed by the Catholic League. I am not a Catholic and do not subscribe to their views. In fact I am very critical of them in general. I do not agree with many aspects of their faith. But I do understand their perspective.

infocus_charlie_hebdoBill Donohue comments on reactions to his news release from yesterday [click here] on the murder of 12 people in Paris:

Being misrepresented is commonplace for public figures. Sometimes it reflects an honest misreading; other times it is a willful distortion. I don’t have the time now to address all of these instances, but I am hardly going to run from my position.

My position is this: the murderers are fully responsible for what they did and should be treated with the full force of the law. Nothing justifies the killing of these people. But this is not the whole of this issue.

The cartoonists, and all those associated with Charlie Hebdo, are no champions of freedom. Quite the opposite: their obscene portrayal of religious figures—so shocking that not a single TV station or mainstream newspaper would show them—represents an abuse of freedom.

Freedom of speech is not an end—it is a means to an end. For Americans, the end is nicely spelled out in the Preamble to the U.S. Constitution: the goal is to “form a more perfect Union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity.”

No fair-minded reading of the Preamble suggests that it was written to facilitate the right to intentionally and persistently insult people of faith with scatological commentary. Moreover, the purpose of free speech is political discourse: it exists to protect the right of men and women to agree and disagree about the makings of the good society.

Let’s forget about legalities. As I have said countless times, everyone has a legal right to insult my religion (or the religion of others), but no one has a moral right to do so. Can we please have this conversation, along with what to do about Muslim barbarians who kill because they are offended?

It would seem to me for instance that I have every right to criticize the Catholic faith, to condemn every man of the clergy for offenses against their faith, and there are so many examples that are pretty tasteless.

But there are so many true Catholics that adhere to the faith and indeed build there whole lives around that faith. It appears to me that this right (as we all have) that allows me to condemn some, that same right does not allow me to insult the whole of the religion.

Its called moral respect for each other.

Today’s attack on the offices of Hebdo and murdered the head cartoonist and four others with newspaper’s editor-in-chief, Stephane Charbonnier.

This particular newspaper has continually been insulting the Prophet Mohamed over the last six years or so. They have enjoyed extremely good sales when their publications have a front page cartoon on Islam……

Their building has been burned out once, and several of the staff has been under police guard because of threats.

Not being a follower of Islam myself I do however tread very carefully when points that are emotional and close to the heart are concerned. In particular I respect peoples religions, and am always aware of how deep faiths are instilled in some people, consequently religion as a general topic for me and others just are taboo unless in the most general terms.

On this site you can find several topics of faiths in general, and all have a certain respect and reverence toward its icons and heads. There is not a satirical piece anywhere, and there is not likely to be.

Today many people have lamented about freedom of speech being violated by today’s massacre. I would question whether the rights of Muslims have also been violated by producing their most revered icon as a cartoon? Would we depict Jesus as a cartoon on a front page of a magazine for instance.

I would never condone these murders, but, why would we think its OK for us to use a leader of a religion as a cartoon on a magazine…… when Islam is concerned?

Kim Jong-Un

According to the Daily Mail Kim Jong Un has got an army of 6000 hackers ready  to bring down the world. HERE

South Korea accuses North Korea of a multitude of sins. But dont you ever wonder how it is that Korea goes from a third world depot state that has marginally got out of the stone age to a high tech 6000 strong bunch of hackers that can not only disrupt the world economy but can fire miniature missiles at the USA….

The fact is that now one really knows anything about North Korea….. and I dont see us finding out in the near future….
